I love the holidays. Of course, I'm not the only one. But why? What is it about holidays?
The sparkle of lights and the joy of being with family and friends. All entwined with celebrating life and the beliefs that ground us.
No matter where we are or what we celebrate, these truths are pretty universal. There's so much that binds us together and to this earth, I really just wanted to share that simple idea with The Holiday Star.
A business writer by profession, I had the spark of an idea for a children's book in 2021. So I decided to follow that spark, and it became The Holiday Star. My husband and I are the proud parents of two wonderful daughters, all grown up and finding their own sparks. In my spare time, you can find me boating, hiking, skiing, doing needlepoint, or looking up at the stars to see if there's another book out there . . .
